Bridge To Terabithia

Bridge to TerabithiaBy Katherine Paterson
Published By: HarperCollins
Genre: YA/Middle Grade
 # of Pages: 128
Source: Library
Rating: 5 out of 5

Synopsis:
Jess Aarons' greatest ambition is to be the fastest runner in his grade. He's been practicing all summer and can't wait to see his classmates' faces when he beats them all. But on the first day of school, a new girl boldly crosses over to the boys' side and outruns everyone.

That's not a very promising beginning for a friendship, but Jess and Leslie Burke become inseparable. Together they create Terabithia, a magical kingdom in the woods where the two of them reign as king and queen, and their imaginations set the only limits.

My Thoughts:
I cried, I laughed. I was feeling what the characters were feeling. Honestly this was the first book I cried while reading.  I sadly read this book as a library book, but I want a copy for myself so bad!!!

Who I recommend it to:
Anyone looking for a sweet, gushy book.  It's short, so you could read it during a readathon, but I would either recommend you to read it last or give yourself some time after the book!

  1. I've never read this one or seen the film adaptation, but it sounds like a sweet read. :)

Thanks so much for visiting Finding Wonderland, Julia.
